Thread: great day at the antique store!

Got the Wostenholm and Autostrop at 40% off! Everything was 20% off then you draw for bonus 5 -20 additional % off and I drew 20%! Had enough money left to go back and get the Genco. I was super-psyched! Also won an auction in eBay that I didn't expect to win. 4 safety razors two of which were Gems. SWMBO will have me on lockdown for a while so no telling when I will be able to get them honed.

Also got a Waldo there last week that I think will look fantastic when it is cleaned up. It is very tusty and has a broken scale. Can't seem to find much about them on this site or the web.

congratulations ! i hit a couple stores this weekend and had no luck. they keep telling me that razors are real hot now and they can't keep them in the store. Plus we need pictures of yours to prove your telling us the truth

Good times! I don't recall where I bought ever razor via the net - but I recall every antique store find.

I know I forgot lol. Had to go back and put the pic in. Will do some close ups in a bit. Not sure I want to show the waldo as it is very rusty. Need to get some steel wool to get started. Then some sand paper.

Sorry about the upsidedown pics. I don't recall taking them that way.

I find it interesting that both have a thumb notch, also id almost bet that the ixl scales are ivory?
