    Default Mystery razor

I got this razor off of yahoo auction Japan. I can't find any information on the internet and I was wondering if someone on here has heard of it or if its just some knock off no name.

It's stamped "Klupp, Polger" and "German steel" on the show side and a suspicious "This razor is made of all the same to Soligen steel" on the other. Sounds like a bit of Japnese/Engrish to me. There is also some decent spine work. What do you all think?

I wouldn't be too worried about the wonky English; just hone it up and see how it shaves. Japanese steel is often of a very high quality. It may be duff or it may be good - the proof will be on the face.

Maybe a knockoff of the Krupp trade mark. Like the Bolex copies of Rolex watches that were common when I was stationed in Japan in the late70's. Hone it up and try it. Japanese razor makers tended to use good steel.
