I am new to the straight razor scene, been using a DE for a few years now so maybe its time....

Which leads me to this, I recently received 3 razors from my 96 year old uncle. All of them in very nice shape, two are very plain and identical (great daily shavers). The third (see photos) is very curious, I have no intention of selling, but would love to find out all that i can.

The scales are a brownish color with the floral relief in a bronze color, the insert appears to my amateurish view to be ivory(?).

The front side of the blade: An etched Uncle Sam with gold accents "UNCLE SAM"
Registered Trademark 39739
Moshy & Rahaim
Made in Germany

The back side of the blade: 100 1/2 on the tang

My Uncle is not in any condition to elaborate on its origin or history so I thought I would start here.

Thank you
