    You have chosen, IMO, the two value leaders in straight razors!

    I've got the same Revisor, in black scales, and a 7/8 Aust Spanish Point. Both stunning shavers, it's very difficult to choose which one is superior... You really cannot go wrong whichever you choose.

    I have two Revisors and I can away that they are fantastic. The steel is great. It is not chippy steel and takes a great edge quite easily. And they are great shavers too. They have a vintage feel to them but are obviously new. Knowing what I know about them ,I'd go with Revisior.

    Thank you everyone for your input, I pulled the plug on the revisor earlier today and it should be in my hands in a few days.

    Both are new outfits. I don't have any new revisors but I do have 2 Austs and I can't imagine the revisor shaving better than the Aust.
