Two beautiful vintage Escher stones for me, 12.5 x 2.5 each, old wooden box, labels and all. One a dark black grey, the other yellow streaked. Going to be my new refreshing routine I'm supposing, some laps on the Nani 12k, and then the butter, velvet edge on the Escher. So I'm now working in tandem with just finishing off, for now, with BAD and RAD, and still maintaining a good run with HAD and SAD.

Damn. Had to say something. I've just gotten my Norton combo set and a chosera 1k as well. And a Hibbard Spencer Bartlett barbers hone which matches my two HSB razors. All three OVB model. I was excited about that lol
So that's 4 stones in about a month. Could be worse

Approaching 20 razors is a healthy number. I remember those days when I had hundreds of them all over the place. Too many of them ended up in drawers for months...years...until I sold them all down eventually to 2... recently I purchased a few but will probably never have more than 7 on hand...that way they get legitimate face time.
My current lineup....

Not buyers remorse. I got all of these on the cheap. I hunt for the deal. The wosty in horn and Friour I got for like 50 apiece. Those are the most I've paid for razors. I like Em all.
I need to sell to buy hones and stops and brushes and other razors. It's a vicious circle.

The original plan was two week set. One rotation goes until need of honing then other goes into rotation. But I keep finding good deals. I'll start forwarding them to you guys soon.
Those are all beautiful razors! Nice photo work too.

I had that plan once... Now my plan is 'buy and try' If I see something I think I might like, I buy it and try it. If I like it more than something I already own, I swap them in the rotation and sell the other one. If I don't like it, i sell it. Right now I have 10 razors that I've bought in the last week or so that I need to hone and shave with. I also have about 15 'keepers' that are already honed and all provide nice, smooth shaves. Thank goodness my HAD died down a couple months ago....
