Thanked: 3164If it is a rat, than it could be the mark of Peter Daniel Baus, Solingen. One guide says they were founded in 1820. I think they are still in business today, but not selling straight razors. The company also seems to have had a flying bird (lark) and a trade-name registered - Trias.
Must say that the animal on Bongo's blade doesn't look much like a rat - to me, anyway - so could be another maker.
Regards,
Neil

Thanked: 634Not sure. The only PB I came up with was Peter Baus. Not sure if he had a logo (cat playing with ball). Good luck.

Thanked: 39It sort of looks like a rat's head grafted onto a cat's body... Genuinely distressing!

Hmm, looks like a rodents tail to me and I can see (now that someone mentioned it) it playing with a ball. I really can't make out what the head is or how it's arranged.
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.
