Executive Shaving - UK
OK...so I thought my RAD was somewhat under control but then I checked out some the very nice razors Executive Shaving had in stock and now I'm contemplating placing my first international order for a razor. Anything special I need to know about Executive Shaving, shipping, etc? I see I will pay VAT but my understanding is that it will be refunded. Also, I noticed some razor descriptions indicates they are "shave ready" other do not. Do all razors from ES come shave ready? Thanks in Advance!

Thanked: 3164ES is run by a good guy - Brian Mulreany. When they only handled a few straight razors I used to be the resident honer for them, but they started stocking so many it took too much of my time up.
The shave-ready razors probably come via Revisors workshops in Solingen, so only the German models are likely to be warranted shave ready.
Not so sure about VAT - you had better clear that up before you make your purchase.
Regards,
Neil

Thanked: 3227No idea how ES handles the VAT for overseas customers, but having purchased items from other European sellers the price excludes the VAT at purchase. Never had to apply for a refund of VAT.

IME most all UK and EU vendors do not charge VAT to USA customers. Most, if not all, have it worked out in the software. I bought a Rooney Christmas special brush from ES many years ago. The proceeds donated to a local hospital. Service was just fine.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

You should not have to pay VAT so look for a reduction equivalent to 20% of the value you end up with I.e. divide the shown selling price by 1.2 to get at the price you pay.

Gerhring9006 the information on VAT is on the sellers website. You will be refunded the VAT and an email to you following the transaction will verify the refund of the VAT.

I purchased items from ES a number of times in the last 18 months - always good service and no VAT.
