Flea Market Finds
I'll start off with this $ 20 find today. Pretty decent shape. Just a little minor pitting. Might change the scales though

It didn't need much clean up. The scales aren't pristine but they are functional. I'll get it honed and see how it shaves.

I'm thinking of going to either a classic black or a deep blue. The current scales are a plastic that's a bit worn out.

Twere it me, Some folks go for the "different" original scales. If the celluloid is good, I would enjoy them.

To clarify, I'm all for keeping the original scales if they are reasonable. In this case though, they were replaced at some point. The current scales are a bit rough and weathered.
