It has been said that the Wonderedge is made from a harder steel however a Perlson family member said this is not true. It seemed harder to hone to me but ??? To me the Satinedge is the finest Duck to use in any width but it's all in my head I am sure :<0)
Good to know....Valery said to me the steel was much harder and the blade much heavier on the Wonderedge than the Goldedge. The blade of the Goldedge is paper thin, very extra hollow ground...which for me translates that it's cursed.

Funny you should mention the Satin Wedge...guess many, many months ago, I picked up a Satin Wedge off the Classifieds here, think it was Earthdawn who owned it, and he told me it was restored or owned by Don (??) at SRD previously. It's a really beautiful blade, in great condition, and is the one Duck I truly like...yes, it's a small near wedge, but it handles great and really performs well....and our friend Gssixgun (Glen) was the person who honed it for me many moons ago...
