Boehler Stahl NOS 15/16
I picked up this razor last week and it comes with a very interesting history, I already have a later Boehler Stahl model an Eursta German Solingen 13/16, as with all my vintage razors I always unpin the razor firstly to see what's going on behind the pivot hole and with most vintage razors the vast majority tend to have no internal washers and this one proved no different so with a sparkling clean tang and pivot hole and new internal washers and re-pinned then honed and stropped nothing left but the pictures.

Bohler Stahl (steel) dates back to the 1800s in Austria Vienna.
After some quick research I was able to find that this German cutler was actually a Jewish company which was forced to remove its stamp from their razors during the Second World War - a Jewish Star of David which this razor would have had during pre Nazi Germany.

That's a lovely blade Sir !!....To tell the truth, I wouldn't have enough guts to unpin such a lovely razor.
But you never know what's underneath. Your re-pinning work is superb BTWhttp://straightrazorplace.com/workshop/18504-welcome-workshop-how-do-i-where-do-i-what-do-i-answers-here.html
