    Default Razor Scales

I recently sent off an old Bengall (my first) SR off to have sharpened. Upon its return, the one scale was broken-it was cracked when I sent it off. I'm looking to find a set for it with the pins and all the hardware. It is a 5/8 if that makes a difference. Where is the best place to look online. I'm not looking for anything fancy.

If you really like the razor you may want to spring for some custom scales. There are quite a few guys capable of performing such a task. I stroll through the members services in the classifieds should help. Although the above advice is sound if you are looking for something generic and inexpensive.

Another option is the invisible edge. VERY nice and reasonably priced scales and pins. Even though they are in the UK their shipping to the US is included in the price! Just another option for you.
What a curse be a dull razor; what a prideful comfort a sharp one

I happened to stop in at Maggards just the other week. He had both orange and blue swirl scales as well as plain black. I picked through and found 3 or 4 sets. The guys a straight shooter and helpful. He GAVE me a set of bone scales that someone else was discarding. You cant do better than that. All sets come with pins and washers. Shoot him an email and even if its not listed he will keep his eye out to help.
