Thanked: 1First straight, need advice
I have been DE shaving for the last 6 months and have decided to try a straight razor.
I had my mind set on a Thiers-Issard 6/8 historic Spartacus Dreadnought point with blond horn scales, but then read about Ralf Aust. Found a great looking 6/8 RA on his website with horn scales that is available in both Spanish and American point (to be honest not to fond of the look of the round point).
I want to buy a nice quality straight, that is a decent beginner shaver.
Would one of these be a good purchase, any other recommendations?

Oh well, I have been reading up on reviews and finally took the plunge.
A 6/8 Ralf Aust has been ordered. Spanish point, Rosewood scales and with the serations.
Now a long waite to receive it (intereseting how one can spend weeks over end to analyze and then 2 weeks of waiting for delivery is almost unbearable).
