    Default what's up y'all?

new to the forum, maybe i was lucky when i found this one... my story is that i've been shaving with straight for about 6-7months now, and i really enjoy it... so i thought that now is time for me to buy a new little better razor, i really can't get these from Finland (cause noone uses these in here) but i was able to find one place that has 2 different kind of dovos for sell

    http://www.classicshaving.com/catalo...940/190297.htm

that one would cost 98€ for me and

    http://www.classicshaving.com/catalo...940/873597.htm

    that one 134€

so which one i should buy? or should i order some other one from usa etc.

and anyone of you knows anything about my current razor, it says ''weltmeister'' in it and it should be made in solingen, but who knows it's from that same store i'm bout to order that dovo from and it costed about 40€...

    Smile Welcome MrSnoopy

Either should do fine, but I like to recommend the Thiers-Issard razors. They hone well, shave great and keep an edge a little longer than other carbon steels I've used. Those you can get from Euro sites as well.

I have a Weltmeister (sometimes they're branded Worldmaster) and it's an excellent blade. One of the few that I'll always have in my collection. If it was in good shape $40 was a very good price for it.

    A Polish Wapienica perhaps?
Don't laugh. They are dirt cheap, but several people here say that the steel is as good as anything. I'll grant you that they don't have nice scales or anything fancy, but they should be excellent shavers.
I am currently waiting for mine.

In the ebay section here there is a thread titled 'wapienica...' that contains a link to the ebay store where you can get them.

Better hurry up though. these things are selling like hot cakes.

From what I hear they're pretty good. Classicshaving is cheaper though, even with the more expensive shipping.

classicshaving.com? they from USA, right? then becomes tax problem, i really don't want to pay 22% taxes, or any of you guys has info about if they are willing to make the package to be gift and valued less than 45€, even if it's costs more? cause some shops wont do that, when i have asked in ebay...
