    Hey guys,
So I took a lot of the feedback from this thread and other feedback that I've been getting from product reviews and have made a few adjustments to the product. I just wanted to let everyone know that there are new photos of the product line up on the site that reflect these changes.

Some of the more notable changes include:
redesign of the shape of the scales
slight thinning and tapering of the tang/shank
more gradual rounding of the heel
extra conditioning and glass burnishing process added to make the strop surface smoother

Anyway, these are the updates for now!

The razors you're making really aren't my style (and it would be very difficult for you to make razors that are 150+ years old!), but I really appreciate what you're doing.

Also, the misspelling of 'Hydra' -- there is a reason copy editing is a specialized, paid profession in publishing. It's REALLY hard to do! Note there was one person in this thread who didn't see it even after it was pointed out!

    Also, it has some precedent:

It's very exciting to have more production razors out there.

    A little thread revival!

I know a review was done on the Hydra... but were reviews done on any of the other models? Anyone else using these blades?

    Thanks!

I picked up a razor this Saturday afternoon, very similar in design to the W&B Ottoman, only 1,000km away from Cairo in Damascus, a Joseph Elliot, "Damascus" razor...there is Hebrew etched on the blade face...couldn't find it in the SRP database.

That blade really looks like it should have a smile on it, do you think the straight blade was original, or honed in?
