Default Need help to identify a razor.

    Hej guys.

Today I bought this razor and a box that holds the space of 3 razor from an Antique shop nearby my grandparents. I can't seem to find anything about it on google, mainly because I don't know what to search for other than Nassir Razor or Nazzir Razor and that gives me no results. I bought it for 150 danish crowns witch is about 25$

    DNM,

You are right; there really is no information on Google regarding a "Nassir" or "Nazzir" razor.

Looking at your photo, I think that your razor is more likely a "Nassir" razor as the letters after "NA" appear different than the later "Z" in "RAZOR"

A web search suggests that "Nassir" could be a name or surname of Middle Eastern or possibly Pakistani descent. However, both "Nasir" and "Naser" seem much more common, so maybe "Nassir" is a variation on those names/surnames?

Based on the following, I would hypothesize that your razor was manufactured in Pakistan.

Oh. I'm new to all this and such. I did some research after you said it could be Pakistani and I found out that razors from Pakistan has a quite bad reputation.. Maybe it wasn't such a great deal after all. I was just drawn of its size Thanks anyway.

Hi DNM, not to get your hopes up but it looks like it wasn't made yesterday, maybe it came from a time when they still made razors in order to shave them selves instead of selling $5 razor shaped objects. the reason I think this is that it is engraved in the tang of the razor with a type name or number on the back, if it was made simply to look like a razor there wood be no reason to engrave the type into it I guess
