Travel Gear
Gentlemen,
I look forward to a much needed trip, although short, in a few days. Plans include a visit with the great Sham and my other friends in Kansas City. I also will take a short trip to Cape Girardeau to visit the noble Lynn Abrams. I thought I would share photos of my travel shave gear with you.
The razors are the Henckels Friodur INOX 6/8 and the Feather Artist Club DX with Professional blades for backup. The strop is the Tony Miller 2-inch cowhide with tether that can be rolled into a can with lid. The wet pack is a reproduction of WWI British officer's wet pack.Last edited by Obie; 06-11-2014 at 09:03 PM.

Really nice looking Kit! The Wet Pack is remarkable without being overdone... Really, really cool! What type of can did you use for the Strop?
Thanks for sharing!

Shawn,
Thank you for the kind words. I love the rolled wet pack. The strop comes with that specific can and is meant to be rolled up and stored in it.

Thanks, Gary. Yes, that is the Muhle fibre silvertip travel brush. I am not all that fond of the brush, but it will do for now, until I find the ideal travel brush, if it exists. I have gone through a variety of travel brushes and have yet to find I like. Some time ago, I used a 22 mm Thater silvertip that fit perfect into the Simpson Case travel tube. The reason I sold the brush was because of the small size. I dare say, I have spent a fortune on a huge variety of these travel brushes. Nothing.
