Default Are these good razors ??

I picked up 2 razors on ebay that are in good shape and shave decently. Where do they fall on the quality scale?

Without photos of the razors with the blades open it is difficult to tell anything.

If you type Bismarck in the box on the top right of the page in the search box you will find a whole bunch of info.

If they are shaving well and you enjoy them they are of a good quality. If you are wondering about the value of them, that is as always, a moot point, and will vary via the law of supply and demand and what you would pay for one of them. My almost absolute shaver is a razor with absolutely no markings anywhere on it and it has been giving me quality shaves for the past 10 months with no re-freshening, just linen and leather.

I am more interested in the reputation of the brand, rather than condition or value.

See if this works for info and pics....

From what I have heard they are good razors. The one in your photo looks great. Remember it is personal preference as to what is a good razor. What you like someone does not. So if you are happy that is all that matters.

Bismarck are top-notch razors and this one seems very good.
Unless I'm mistaken, there should be a second razor ?

Looks like mine, a real nice shaver.

Bismarcks are known to be very good razors, and from the pics this one looks to be in pretty decent shape.

They do, but they aren't the OP's razors .......

To the OP, no doubt the vintage Bismarcks were fine razors, so are the Dovo Bismarcks, but condition determines whether an individual razor is 'good' or not.
