    Default Multicoloured titanium coated blade - RAD at its worse

    I admit it, I have a problem with RAD already. Unfortunately I also have a tendency to eBay late at night after a bottle of red wine. That has led to my latest blade - that I forgot about until it was delivered just now.

    Oh god what have I done?

    It looked pretty - what can I say???

    Looking down the blade the cutting edge isnt even straight. It deviates by about .5mm along the length of the blade. Shall I just trash it? It was a last minute bargain with no bids so it cost about €10.

    Other then a thorough trashing (which I deserve), does anyone have any comments?

    Use it for honing practice? If you can sharpen it, then all the good stuff should be a piece of cake.

    Well thanks for not thrashing me, and at least I know I am not alone. I think honing practice is a great idea - the only thing that worries me is that where the blade is so wavy, will it dig big chunks out of my nice new Tam O'Shanter thats on order...?

    Still lesson learnt. My girlfriend still laughs at me whenever I mention it.

    Ouch.
    Alcohol + eBay == double-plus un-good
    Does look pretty, though.
