Catl Rader
check out this beast, got it off ebay. Anybody ever hear of this brand Carl Rader. Has you can see its 7/8 beast of a razor heavy has hell. What do you think, will clean up nicely you think? Decent shaver? Its the biggest one ive gotten yet

big blade, not as big as one I've seen used to shave with. Should clean up OK.

Carl Rader razors are usually great shavers and are no problem to hone up. This one looks a little rough and looks like it has had a lot of honing or grinding toward the front of the blade, which could make it more difficult to get shave ready. You will have some pitting on clean up and be careful about what looks like some rust on the edge.

Indeed Lynn, you are not mistaken there is significant hone wear concentrated toward the tip of the spine. I'll do my best to get it decently sharp has i have never used such a big razor. And I am quite intrigued. I know there are some much bigger ones out there but this one still feels and looks like it was made for a giant!
