    Default Japanese 1072 ID

I've had this Japanese razor for a while. It has number 1072, but I don't have any idea of the maker. Can anyone help?

You may want to show at least 2 photos of the entire razor taken in a good light. Show both sides of the blade and the scales.

Oh, and one more question. How do you know it is Japanese?

    Thanks Bob,

I'll get a couple of better pictures sorted. And I don't know if it's Japanese, I bought it from Japan and the writing is Japanese and 1072 is used on many of their razors. So thought it would be a good assumption.

    It is Japanese.

    I think it reads: Hishakaku.

If you have any more pics it may give more info.

Yepp that's a Hishakaku. Thay use to make westernstyled razors. Thay also put the text "Extra Very Hard" on the boxes
