I'm not what you would call a SR vet but I've really been enjoying this for awhile. I was lucky enough to pick up this sweet little Imp 132 that needed honing in the worse way. I was also lucky enough to hook up with a member named Steel right here on SRP. He was kind enough to hone it for me.
I got to say, I could sell all my other razors and just keep the Imp. Best shave ever! The hone work is perfect!
Oh, I also bought a magneto steel off him awhile back and that thing is scary sharp! It's second up in rotation after the Imp.
I had to give a shout out to a great guy and a serious hone master! Thanks a million, Steel!

More proof of what makes SRP such a special place.

You hooked up with a good fella! Steel has been a huge help for me also. I have 3 straights that he has honed. 2 from his personal collection that stay in my constant rotation. He honed up my Duck Dwarf an man its on point! Love that little straight. So even though not my thread I have to say a huge thanks also to steel for being so generous to a newbie.

I'm definitely no hone master or honemeister. I just love to hone as a hobby and I'm glad I could help and that you liked the edges

Steel has taken my shaving experience to a whole new level. I never thought I'd get a straight to shave like my beloved Feather SS, but he showed me how to do it. I'm still amazed at the edges I've been getting, and that's after three years of shaving and honing. He knows what he's doing!
