Thanked: 9I guess the better question is what does the R mean as apposed to a K?

Obviously misstamped or likely an anomoly in the area above the 'k'.

I rest my case.

Thanked: 3164Nothing very obviously wrong with it other than there should be a stem above it that has worn away - like you would write a 'k' in the old longhand way. Mine looks the same as yours, but has the entire stem, also the trailing last bit of the 'k' should have a little kick-up or curl.

Neil

Thanked: 9Thanks Neil. I never noticed it until a potential bidder asked me about it.

What strikes me is that the tang doesn't show the usual 'circles' typical of a wonderedge embossed throughout ?
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 9The circles are there, just don't show well in this particular shot. This blade is almost 1/2" shorter than the other Wonderedge I have.
