A fine looking project. I like a 6/8 shoulderless razor. Those scales should clean up well after you take care of the worm holes, they just add character. As to the razor history, someone will be along in a few to help you out. I bet even money it will be Neil.

Should be a nice shaver, I find the JE is a little bit blade heavy.
