Thread: First ever complete/clean - it's the angle, stupid!!

I'm sure many others have felt as dumb as I am and posted the same... today, I got my first ever complete (including neck), fully clean shave. I realize now, I was responding to the remaining hairs with the wrong solution. I would INCREASE the angle and drag the razor when I could still hear stubble remaining. This time, I dropped the angle and did smoother strokes. The first time, fully clean shave, makes me feel like I just lost my virginity.

congrats it only gets better as you find out all the things you were doing wrong pretty soon you wont think there is another way to shave!!! tc

Funny analogy, but once you lose your virginity, it only gets better (as does your technique). Keep at it and I'm sure you'll be wearing a permanent smile!!

ha ha... good point Haroldg! Once you pop the cherry, you get better with age. I was just so impressed with myself for doing my first complete/clean, that I had to share. My wife wouldn't get it.

Damn - 2 days in a row now!!! I might be getting the hang of this!!! I had about give up on being able to clean shave my neck until I realized the dropping the angle method.
