    It's a shame the camera is playing the devil for you. As I read this it sounds like u etched the whole blade the gold color ... Sounds great to me

    The entire razor is golden colored, with blue speckles that are outlined in purple. It is very pretty.

    It was very specific. Have to get it just right. I put it in a 50/50 simple green solution, ate roast beef dinner fell asleep and then checked it when i wke up!

    We have done some immersion testing of Simple Green with high strength steels at my job. It can embrittle alloy steels at hardness levels above 40 Rockwell C. Razors are usually up around 60 or more. You might want to keep an eye out for edge chipping when you hone this blade.

    I bet it would work with roast pork too ! Those colors on e-Bay scare the heck out of me but if you like em more power to ya. In the sixties they had a term for that that was said with lots of feeling. Wooow maaann
