Thanked: 0Razor identification help
Hello!
I found old razor from old stock. Razor look almost unused. I have tried to find similar on internet with bad success. There are many differences on this razor.
The writing in the box is Finnish and means "Swedish magnetic steel - 5 years guarantee". It is no marking of manufacturer in razor, in the box, if its belong to razor, is text "Schlinco". In the blades face is etching "The improved eagle razor magnetic" and on tang "garantie solingen". In tang are no serration. The point is more barbers notch than Spanish. Is this razor some kind of generic model or manufactured by known maker and how old it could be? I have begin to practise whit that, usually i use DE razors. Thanks and sorry for my bad English!

Thanked: 3228When it is stamped with "Garantie Solingen" you are not likely to find out the specific maker. OTH it was made in Solingen so that pretty much makes it a good blade no matter who exactly made it. I have a razor that is just etched Solingen on the blade and it is a good a shaver as my Solingen razors with a makers mark. That is a good looking razor in excellent condition, enjoy.
