S.R. Droescher
Has anyone ever heard of this company? I'm looking at an S.R. Droescher DeLuxe 11/16" spike point for around $40. Nothing really came up using the usu. searches, just a company listing that it was a NYC importer that opened a factory in New Jersey in around 1916. ca. 1891-1924. It's supposedly a Solinger.

I can tell you they sold a model called the Gold Bug which is an outstanding razor. I'm not familiar with your particular model but usually when a company sell a quality product all their products are quality items so I would assume that to be the case here unless someone chimes in with direct knowledge that indicates otherwise

I have one of these and it's an awesome shaver. I use it as part of my regular rotation and I haven't been disappointed. Well worth the price of $40.00
