I keep a face towel folded on the edge of the sink and use it to wipe my hands dry frequently. I only wet my blade at the beginning and the end of each pass, using a cloth on which to wipe the blade during the pass. It's really easy. Still, at the end of the shave, after rinsing the blade thoroughly, I use a tissue around the pivot and inside the scales just in case some water has splashed there.

Rinse blade under warm water, apply a little face soap between thumb and forefinger and gently rub, removes any lather residue (thanks cudarunner). Dry carefully and dip in a mixture of alcohol and mineral spirit and put back in rack.

Thanked: 16I dry the blade (tp or microfiber) then use either clippercide or a silicone impregnated gun cloth.

Mike those cases are really a help for me too the dissicant packs seem to take care of any leftover moisture, I wish I would have had one of my Bruno blade in it when I left town last.
