    Default Kriegar razors...

I keep seeing these on ebay and they look really nice, but the reviews don't appear to be good. Anyone use these? Are they just pretty looking junk?

@thebigspendur... yea, finally found some threads here about them. They're NICE looking - too bad they're apparently horrible cutters. This is why I tend to stick with SRD for purchases vs ebay. Hard to tell what is good vs junk.

If you stick to the old stuff on eBay you are safe (condition of cause comes into play) The new stuff I just give a wide berth

Fell prey EARLY to the Kreigers and the like. Thought I had found a gem. It resides in a box with all the other painful lessons I have had thanks to un-judicious eBay purchases (hey, I'm only human). It is now a look 100 times, buy once and don't cringe when it arrives and you were wrong (again).

My lovely wife got me one for X-mas...She was a little upset when I told her it would make a good gasket scraper in the garage...lol

That is the saddest part about these type of "razors", they are often bought as gifts for loved ones and I think it's heart breaking when they find out it's junk (call me a big softie)

It's not so bad if you buy it yourself, you can just chalk it up to a lesson learned.

@mike1011... the even sadder part is that they're really nice looking! They look nicer that my Solingens.
