    Default ghost straight razor??

    the only thing stamped on it is made in germany. what's the story with these? it was gifted to me. cost me nothing.Name:  photo.jpg

    They were made for in house branding. Places like shapliegh hardware would buy them from the manufacturer and then have their trade mark etched on them. It is a common find. They should not be under estimated as many of them are made by top brand manufacturers. There are several barber supply companies and a couple of hardware companies that are known for high end straight razors. These unmarked razors were often destined for such places. In this case no name does not mean sub standard

    oh thank god. now if that's not good news i don't know what is. so it should be good steel and holds an edge?

    I have a few and they are right up there with my top brands as far as a keen edge that holds well.
