French forums attribute the Colibri to Charles Hake of Remscheid-Haddenbach because he was a German razor maker who made stock for the French Market under the name Charlex. Also, the razors bearing Charles Hake's name are strikingly similar to the colibri ones

Cabiri-Stahlwarenfabrik, Solingen was the works of Johann Emil Kronenberg, established 1894. It was at Solingen-Aufderhohe until 1939 then Landwehrstrasse 75 until 1986. It is believed the company ceased trading in 1986. I only mention this because it appears that some Russian forums have mistakenly called the works Colibri-Stahlwarenfabrik, and one of the brands they made - the Cabiri, has also been mistakenly called the Colibri. Adding further fuel to this mess is the trademark sign of one of their other makes, the Kuck-Kuck and Kuck-Kuck Duo:

It is somewhat similar, but you would have to have bi-lateral eye distortion and be seeing double to confuse it with the colibri sign!
