Afaik Jaguar is also the old brand name of Puma.
Edit: Incorrect information, I misremembered the name. It is Tiger, not Jaguar.Last edited by ferroburak; 08-31-2014 at 01:04 PM.

You are right, Le Jaguar is a brand name from Thiers, France. Indeed, they have a completely different logo and stamping.
ferroburak, I think you are referring to Tiger, which predates Lauterjung & Sohns Puma brand.

Thanked: 0Hi all,
Sorry that I didn't introduced myself, but I can answer your question about this razor :-)
I've got one myself, and did a little search including getting in contact with Jaguar itself, and that was clearing up everything!
The razor was produced by Jaguar (not Le Jaguar), in the late 80's, and Jaguar is indeed a group brand of Zwilling J.A.Henckels.
They have confirmed that this is a product of them!! (whoohoo)
It truly is a very fine razor!!
Cheers Martijn
