    I've looked and looked and I can't find the video where General George Patton is addressing a group and says something to this effect:

    "While flying here I looked down at the total devastation that occurs when the Third Army AND the 8th Air Force are done with it".

    Please Note; AND!! Regardless of which branch we have served or serving in, we are/were a part of a 'Team' as each depends on the other one way or the other.

    This link may be of interest when he's back home addressing on soil that wasn't torn by war. It's sort of a 'collection of clips' I for one am very thankful that my father, mother and their parents and friends and so many others didn't have to witness what Patton was describing about the flight over German.
