Thanks guys...I used to groan ugh, when my wife wanted to go "antiquing"...RAD hit, now I ask her when we can go! The Turner will be making a trip to see gssixgun..I don't want to screw it up with my feeble honing skills...I think it was the "find" of the trip... The box is very nice, all original except for locking latch. I've found larger re-finished boxes, more $$$, this one will work quite well for my collection(right now), and my wife likes it too!

Wow what a lovely find! Very classy.

How do you like using that chest for shaving tools? I've considered buying one myself.

Love the box, put a sheet of vci paper in the drawers now so the blades do not rust- or leave then slightly open

I've been using cigar boxes, so this is quite "a step up"... best thing is the wife likes the idea of this setting out in our home office...

as you may notice by my sign on name, I have a lot of cigar boxes so naturally that's what I am using also. Be very careful not to close the lid for extended periods of time. I did so and even though I had them all coated with balliistol, two of them developed small rust spots. I caught it quick enough that maas cleaned them up thankfully. I have since drilled some air holes in the lids and am looking for some rust preventative paper to put in the bottoms
