Thanked: 1New Williams custom arrived today!
Thought I'd share some of Robert's incredible work as a few others have done. So here's a few pics of what was waiting for me in my mailbox!
She's feels wonderfully hefty for only 6/8. The jimps on top and bottom give great grip. The giraffe bone scales blend from cream to pinkish with some nice grain, and have been beautifully sculpted. Extended, the whole thing is nicely balanced and effortless to strop.
Thankfully I was ready for a shave, and discovered this is an incredible blade! no tugging at all in any direction, and left my face smoother than I've felt. Robert's work is not just functional art, but incredibly high-performing art. It puts my best best Dovo and TI to shame.
For anyone considering a custom build, I can't recommend working with Robert highly enough. He was very easy to get ahold of, accommodating in my choices, and finished the build well ahead of the estimate 9 months. Thanks so much, Robert!

Very beautiful razor. I love the Giraffe bone scales! I've been equally impressed with how well my Williams razors shave, and how incredibly well built they are, with such attention to detail. Congratulations.

A really nice piece, bet your other razors won't get much use in the first few weeks.

I have a razor he did with blue giraffe scales. He certainly does great work.
