Thanked: 0Plisson straights
Anyone have experience with Plisson straights and care to share their opinion? They're made in a part of France I spent time in many years ago and still remember very fondly. would be interested in adding to my collection for the personal connection but despite their relatively decent price I would really prefer to add if they make pretty special blades.
thanks gents

Thanked: 3225At a quick glance, the 3 razors on the Plisson site look very much like Thiers Issard razors which have been house branded for Plisson. Not saying it is correct but I would not doubt it if somebody can confirm that. Even if they are rebranded TIs, Thiers Issard have a reputation of producing good razors.

Plisson has never made straight razors. I know ownership changed hands a few years ago and if they are selling razors now I suspect they are rebranded pieces probably made in France which would make them TIs.
