Got a second JR Torrey 5/8, i love these things.
Love the matching scales, Had the green razor for about a year, just found its mate on eBay, got it for a good price too. The Ivory Razor needed alot of honing to remove a chip from the point, turned out to be a very nice shaver like its sister.
Does any one know how to figure out a time period on when each razor was produced? The green razor is marked J.R. Torrey, and has the oval markings with the arrow through the US, and the Ivory razor is marked Torrey Razor Company.

I have no idea how to date them. I do know that they are wonderful shavers. Happy shaves!
