Thanked: 2New but old blade questions.
I've had this wade and butcher for a while and I'm just now starting to work on it. I've had it for years but still don't know what year it is. Any information will help.
Only one more. Oh god, I can't stop.

Thanked: 4826A picture of the cutlers mark would be helpful to those in the know.

Thanked: 884I figure that old razor was made 1860-1880. Get her fixed up, it'll still shave.

Thanked: 884Buddy of mine has one that is an 8/8. Doesn't look like it's been honed but a very few times. He doesn't use it for anything except to aggravate me. He won't sell it or trade it.
He's a pack rat and thinks it's just too cool to part with.
Can't blame him, if it was mine, I wouldn't part with it either.Member Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club, participant SE Asia War Games 1972-1973. The oath I swore has no statute of limitation.
