Similar. This company also did an exact LeCoulter ripoff. I am kinda of the opinion that the LeCs without a tang stamp are the originals and others the ripoffs. He never trademarked his original efforts. He was a watchmaker.

That is correct. And there is a story that he didn't like the quality of steel he could buy for razors. So..he meted down watch springs to make a type of Damascus steel. Some of the stamped blades have the look of folded steel anyway. Originally Posted by MasterMason03

It is a French razor, a Leresche.
The factory of razor " les fils et gendre de Jules Leresche ", who will become then " les établissements Leresche et compagnie " was established in 1854 by naturalized French Swiss, Jules Leresche. Implanted to ST JULIEN DU SAULT 89-France, the company stopped its activity of factory of razor and blades at the beginning of the 60s but exists even today, specialized in the factory of industrial blades
