Thanked: 0I'm a newbie--your opinion on this Wade and butcher please
Dear forum members,
I am totally new to buying straight razors. I am contemplating buying this W&B.
I was wondering if you could see any major flaws in the pictures.
Your expert opinion is much appreciated.
Cheers,

looks fine to me. You will have to get it honed before you use it.

Thanked: 884Looks good from here too. Hasn't seen a lot use or abuse.
Properly honed, it'll be a great shaver.Member Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club, participant SE Asia War Games 1972-1973. The oath I swore has no statute of limitation.

Long as the guy ain't asking an arm and a leg. Go to ebay ..... completed items ....... Wade & Butcher , straight razors ..... see what they are bringing. We don't do appraisals here on SRP, so you're on your own. Look at the completed items and judge for yourself whether the seller is in line with the market, or trying to hit the lottery with his razors.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
