Definate keepers in there Dan, the pipe & bengals are great shavers, is there another stamp out the back of the pair of Germans? That may ahead some more light on them.
The custom etching of the owners names are cool
Great score some are really good razors some I don't know
But I would be betting early to mid 1900's for them all.
i am sure other with more knowledge will shed some more light on themSaved,
to shave another day.

Hi Datto, I'll try.
The pair of razors, Eagle and Globe, I know nothing about, but Substance is right. They look good and worth restoring
The Bengall is one of the most common straight razors to be found in Australia.
It looks good and someone will be along soon to give you some more info.
The Wostenholm looks good, but we need more pics !!
You should introduce yourself on the "Down under" sub-forum and take it from there. You'll get some answers.Last edited by bongo; 11-03-2014 at 12:34 AM.

Hi Datto- I agree with Bongo - 'come on down' to the Aussie sub-forum ....
and in the meantime, I can tell you that J.E. Parkin was an ironmonger in Corowa ... he was an old man when he sold his business in 1918.
Cheers

Well Dan, I can see you've got a bright future here. Those are the sort of razors we spend a lot of time looking for. You should see the rubbish we mostly find! Chips, frowns, cracked scales, etc. I saw one of them did have a break in the scales but that wouldn't be a problem. A lot of the guys in SE Qld, myself included, can make up new scales, restore or hone up old blades. Let us know if you want a hand.

Wow, that's too bad, finding out that your new house is infested with razors. Your best bet is to box them up and send them to me before the breeding season begins. I'll have them properly exterminated.
Don't get hung up on hanging hairs.
