I've been maintaining mine with just a Norton 8k and chrom-ox.... again, it's super easy to get sharp, it holds it edge longer than most of my other 14 razors. I can't say enough good about them....

I think every blade has it own personality. Depending on your skills, said personality may or may not meet with your expectations.
I have always romanticized TI's. I would take the "chance" personally.
Thiers Issard are generally good quality razors, but sometimes you can fall on a bad one. The most common issues I have encountered are uneven bevels, sometimes even a slight frown. They can take a considerably longer time to hone because the steel they use is very hard.

is that a good place to buy a thiers issard?
I just can't find a contact link or email. That's my only reservation
you'll probably find more info on their main page here:
Introduction to razors
Edit: or maybe not....
I just looked and it's under Policies and Terms
Awesome thank you sir. Gonna shoot him.an email ans see how responsive he is. Thanks
You should also read the policies because that's what governs a transaction - for example the consumer protections for sales within UK do not apply to international sales and that's clearly stated. It may not matter to you, but it's still better to be informed and make decisions based on that rather on assumptions that may not be correct.
