Thread: New Dovo Bismarck

I ordered a factory reconditioned Dovo Bismarck from Vintage Blades. It was in their clearance items section, and the description noted that there may be some visual defects. As far as I can tell on this one, there are just a few scratches on the mirror finish of the blade on the non-etched side of the blade. For the more than reasonable discount, and the hone prior to shipping, I could not be more pleased.

Those are such great looking razors. One day I'll have the money for one, but it just isn't in the cards yet. I think my favorite were the ones they made several years ago with the translucent red scales, but those seem hard to come by.

Thats cool nice buy. I just bought my first razor it is a Bismarck also i want to get it refurbished a little. The razor is in really good condition it just needs to be sharpened. I want to post pics of it i cant for some reason i am really happy about the razor it does look beautiful i like the pearl on yours

Get that puppy sharpened and let her rip. It shaves wonderfully. I have a funny feeling you will like it a lot!
