Info/opinions on Friedellko razors
So I have a really nice Friedellko. Went searching for info and found close to nothing. What can the more knowledgable than me tell me about this manufacturer.

Thanked: 4827I agree, you have a very nice razor. I cannot see the cutlers mark, but it isn't a light one either. I am going to throw out a generic guess and say that those are from recent but not current production. As in 30's to 50's time frame. I am just guessing. There are a few here with crazy access to information. If you could get a good picture of the makers mark someone is likely able to give you some real information.

Better photo of the makers mark.
I do believe it's on the newer side from the condition. It didn't need much cleaning up. Honed it last night and shaved quite well this morning. I only say quite well because I'm new to SR shaving and my technique needs some practice and improvement so I don't have enough experience to be able to say how well it shaved. SR shaving is still a challenge. But it cut the whiskers! HHT was really good popping nicely.
To hone I used Norton 1K/4K/8K finished with apache strata. Edge looked really good under 45X loupe.
