Thanked: 0Next razor
I've been wets having for a little over a year now. Been using an ej de89 I think. It's a highly recommended beginner razor and now I think I'm ready to progress. I also have a parker shave the I use occasionally.
The number one problem I'm having right now is right under my jaw line. I feel like no matter how many passes I make there is stubble. Maybe something more aggressive is needed?
What do yall recommend as a next DE razor? I like the butterfly style i# that matters haha

Thanked: 580Can't get closer than a straight, but if you are looking for a DE, you might want to consider a vintage Gillette Fatboy, slim, or black beauty, all adjustable, and butterfly.

like posted above a vintage Gillette FatBoy or Slim would be my next if i was you .. they both have the butterfly heads and a dial to adjust the aggressiveness ..
on a side note when i use my DE i noticed that a few strokes from chin to ear and ear to chin always get that little bit of stubble under the jaw line , dont know if you have tried that approach but it works for me ... good luck !

Fatboy or slim are good razors as mentioned, The Muhle R-41 is a current production razor that is reasonably priced and more aggressive will be more or less the same balance as the EJ89L so easy step up,

Thanked: 25I have the same problem with the jawline area, Parker 24C does the best job of my EJ89, Parker 22R and 24C. I find that opening my mouth drops my jaw bone down and gives me some tension to the skin that would be directly under the jaw bone with my mouth closed.
