Thanked: 19I would go with the boker and make sure that is is honed and shave ready. wonky bevels go with Sheffield and if the razor is very old then you are looking at a possible regrind which isn't bad if it was done properly. that being said it has no warranty and the boker should as the store should stand behind it if the blade was warped or the edge wouldn't shave. now, keep the strop unpasted as you don't want to paste your only strop. enjoy the trip in the rabbit hole, you know of course it is a one way drop and once in there is no out. just settle and wait on rad and had to kick in.Welcome to the joy of it all.

Thanked: 2Thanks everyone for all your input.
I've decided to go with a new Boker. Like Phoenix51 said, a vintage razor will always be out there for me to buy later on. By then I should have a better idea what to go for and what I should be paying.
