Thanked: 45Thoughts on J.A. Henckels 415
I just purchased a NOS 415 and am extremely excited to get it in the mail in the coming weeks. I am curious what those of you who have used them think of them, and more importantly, if anyone knows their history (production dates, etc).
I am just curious more than anything, and they seem to be a variety of Henckels that is hard to dig information up on. Not going to lie though, I think I will be hard-pressed to find a better looking razor/scale combo, especially with the brass bolsters and twin logo.
TIA!
Ted

Never tried one myself. They're a bit modern for my tastes.Member Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club, participant SE Asia War Games 1972-1973. The oath I swore has no statute of limitation.

Thanked: 4827I have to say that Henckels is my favorite brand, so I don't understand how this could go wrong. They are a looker from the greatest razor company ever, I don't see a down side.

Great shaver , easy to hone, holds an edge well. Ya gotta watch that point though. Mine was NOS and has a wicked sharp point on it. Great for tight spots but a maneater if you're not paying attention. Still one of my favorites. Enjoy
