Thanked: 11Possible restoration item
Hello all. I have found a razor on some local classifieds, and did some digging on the site for info on it. The ad listed it as being labeled A. Weber Co. on one side, and Germany on the other. The scales are tan plastic, and say "Original Pipe Razor". I did manage to find a similar razor in the forums, and it looks like it was an old Boker manufacture. I have asked for more detailed pictures, and am waiting to hear back. Here is the photo from the ad:
Any thoughts?

From what I can see it looks to be a good possibility. Scales may actually be horn. Make sure and get some good shots of the blade.
The older I get the more I realize how little I actually know.

Thanked: 884Mismatched box and razor. Not unusual.
Razor appears to a Wostenholm "Pipe" razor. The scales are horn. We need some clear pics of the blade to be able to tell you more about what you are up against as far as getting that thing shaving.
