Does anyone know anything about these?
i have only done a small amount of searching for info and mainly came up with links to old auctions.
Other side of the tang is silver steel, hollow ground, Germany.

Thanked: 4249That topic is not going anywhere, will always stay here, and you never know someone will find info about it. I dont even know if this is your razor is yours or its a cropped picture from a live auction that your interested in?
German factories made razor with business name, barber supply, hardware store, etc so many many possibilities here. Some pics of the entire razor my yields better results.

Thanked: 26I remembered seeing in a few other topics not to post links to auctions which was my reason for cropping a small part of the picture to post, but here is the razor i was trying to gather a little info on.
Shave Ready Vintage Straight Razor | eBay
never really found anything other than more old auctions though.

Thanked: 2I've got another Orba, by the look of it, exactly the same model. I haven't found anything about this brand on the internet, so I'd appreciate any info as well. I bought mine in north Wales, randomly. Where did you get yours?

Thanked: 1184There are 14 register entries for the name ORBA in Germany, maybe 6 files were destroyed and the rest having nothing to do with razors. This is going to take one of the history guys to dig up. Don't give up I already see a club forming :<0)
Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Thanked: 2Mine was £18 in a vintage shop in North Wales, about 25$. It was a bit rusted, but I managed to clean it up and now is shiny and nice. I bought all my razors when I was living in the UK, in vintage shops and flea markets, and none of them costed me more than £20. I don't know why, but prices in these kind of places are significantly lower than on eBay.
