Thanked: 108I got a 14 from the same ebay lot as your 12, and it was fifteen passes on a coticule away from shave-ready.
The 13s from Classic Shaving are a different generation Filly, and it seems like just about everyone who's bought one has found the initial honing to be something of a challenge.

Mine took a bit more work than that including a good amount of Norton lovin' and finishing up on the 0.5. I guess you lucked out.

If I get my hands on some extra cash, I'll have to get my hands on one of these puppies just to see what all the fuss is about.

Thanked: 4942Don't do it Ilija. They are OK, but at best finicky to hone. Get a TI or Dovo for the money.
